Application and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM) invites contributions from throughout the world. Previously published papers will not be accepted. The authors must agree not to publish elsewhere papers submitted to and accepted by the Journal. Submissions must be prepared in English as Microsoft Word computer files (if submitted as PDF or Tex file and accepted, finial version must be submitted as MS Word format). Manuscripts should be submitted to one of the Founding Editors-in-Chief via e-mail. Please send your manuscripts as attachment accompanying your e-mail. In case when electronic submission is not possible, the author(s) should send the manuscript on a diskette or a CD.
The receipt of a manuscript will be acknowledged by one of the Founding Editors-in-Chief. An author may withdraw his/her manuscript within 30 days from the date of acknowledgement of receipt of the manuscript. Once a manuscript is accepted, it will become a property of the AAM.
Submission of a manuscript for review should be typed double-spaced with 1 inch (2.5 centimeter) margins. Authors must choose two possible 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification (MSC) from http://www.ams.org/msc/for their papers and indicate them in their submission notes. The papers should be concise and not to exceed 15 single-spaced pages including all graphs, tables, and appendices. Additional, up to 10, paid pages (5 US$ per page) will be accepted, making the maximum length of a paper as 25 single-spaced pages.
After a brief title, the paper should be headed by the name(s) of the author(s) and his/her (their) affiliation(s), address, telephone, fax and e-mail, followed by two MSC, then an abstract. The abstract should not exceed 150 words and should not contain any formula or references. The abstract should be followed by keywords, not to exceed 7. Acknowledgment should be placed before the list of references.
Manuscripts should be self-consistent. All special symbols and units should be properly defined. Computer programs should be given on an original printout. Final version of the accepted manuscripts must me be single-spaced camera-ready.
References in the text must be presented with the name of the first author and the year, or the year and the page. For instance, Haghighi and Mishev (2006), Mishev, et al. (2002), Durham, et al. (1995, p. 160), or Montazer-Haghighi (1976). Bibliography at the end of papers should be arranged according to one of the following examples:
