Intramurals and Recreational Sports

In addition to the staff, the Intramural & Recreational sports program utilizes student workers to offer tournaments, leagues and special events for PVAMU students, faculty and staff. Program sports include basketball, racquetball, softball, volleyball, aerobics, recreational swimming, dominoes, chess, cards and many more.

Mission

• Provide the campus community with the opportunity to participate in a variety of recreational sports and activities.
• Provide structured and organized programs while assisting in the fulfillment of such basic human needs as relaxation, socialization, accomplishment, maintenance of physical fitness, and most important, having fun.
• Provide a clean and safe atmosphere to participate in.
• Provide spouses the opportunity to participate together.
• Provide students work opportunities for their financial needs.
  

Intramural Sports will strive to be student friendly and committed to excellence in providing quality programs and activities for the campus community.
