Educational Leadership Doctoral Program

Welcome to the Educational Leadership Doctoral Program Website.
The PhD Program in Educational Leadership is designed to train educational leaders who seek to develop and improve their skills and abilities in order to provide excellence in leadership. The initial focus of the program will be on the preparation of administrators and leaders for public and private schools. The program will also prepare educational leadership faculty for colleges and universities. The educational objectives of the PhD Program in Educational Leadership are:

  1. to meet educational needs of the state and nation in this rapidly growing area;

  2. to educate, train, and prepare individuals who possess the research and methodological skills to initiate, conduct, and evaluate independent research;

  3. to prepare educated citizens who are both able and willing to meet the leadership needs of both public and private sectors of society;

  4. to prepare liberally educated individuals who know how to think, reason, and apply knowledge that will enable them to work and use technology in an ever changing world.
