Communications

The Department of Languages and Communications has a digital television studio, PC/MAC computer lab, and a media production laboratory to teach television production, news broadcast, video animation, video editing, and Internet web site development. The newly renovated television studio has state-of-the-art digital equipment and video management systems that offers a unique opportunity for students to learn production in a hands on environment. For students interested
in print media, the student newspaper "The Panther" is an excellent platform to obtain experience
in writing, editing, design and photojournalism.

order to fulfill the 6 SCH of natural sciences requirements, students must take a BIOL, CHEM, PHYS,
or PHSC sequence.

Mass Media Track
Students must complete 12 SCH. of COMM. and SPCH. courses.

The writing lab in the Department of Languages and Communications is open daily to assist students who might have writing deficiencies. English also offer a master's program for those with a desire to obtain a graduate degree.
